General Motors recommends the use of the oil life monitoring system for your vehicle (if so equipped). We endorse the use of the GM Maintenance 1 and Maintenance 2 for our customers. Some of our customers choose to exceed the GM required maintenance, we don't believe that this is necessary but we also believe that it is your car, it is your choice. If your vehicle is not equipped with an oil monitor system, then the tried and true 3 months or 3,000 miles still holds true for your oil changes but also don't forget the rotate your tires every 6,000 miles.
