Mr. Ralph Shaheen-
I recently purchased a vehicle from your dealership on American Rd in Lansing.
I just wanted to tell you how outstanding the service and quality I received and would like to give a special recognition to a view of your employees. I feel customer service is extremely important and needs to be rewarded and recognized when an outstanding job is done.
The vehicle I purchased was taken in on trade a few days before I had bought it. It was not yet detailed or cleaned and I am very picky when it comes to the cleanliness of vehicles. When the sales associate Tobie knew I was interested in this vehicle he ran it to the car wash got it cleaned and tried to vacuum out the inside the best he could. I appreciated it very much and after driving and negotiation I am now the proud owner of the GMC Terrain. Tobie and another associate of yours Eliza (works in detailing on the Logan rd shop) reassured me that they were going to get it detailed and looking brand new before I came to pick the car up for good. I was skeptical seeming as how the previous owner did not take good care of the car at all and the inside was disgusting and dirty. I was very pleasantly surprised when I picked up my vehicle. It looked absolutely phenomenal and just like brand new. Eliza did an amazing job and I wanted to make sure you realized what an amazing employee you have. He deserves to be recognized for the great (and hard) work he does.
Again, I am very impressed and had such a great experience I will be referring you to everyone I know looking to buy a car.

Hello, I just picked up my beautiful Chevy Equinox yesterday. I am so impressed with your salesman, Matt Platko. He was so helpful and truely listened to my wants and needs. At no time did I feel pressured into purchasing thing I didn't want. I told him what I could afford and he was able to put me in the car I wanted at the price I could pay. I will gladly recommend Shaheen Chevrolet and Matt to friends and family in the future. Matt does such a great job in his personal attention. I've dealt with car salesmen before and he made it a relaxed and enjoyable process. I felt like I was talking to an old friend. To many times in today's society you hear about negative things. I want to relay to you the experience I had with your Dealership. As a Chevy Cobalt owner I had to bring my car into your service department on Saturday June 2, 2012. Truthfully I had never been or needed your service department prior to the recall on the power steering problems. When I arrived Friday evening to drop the vehicle off, I was amazed at the professionalism your dealership has. My service rep. ( Mike Verplanck), treated me like I was the only customer there. Saturday when I received a phone call from him stating that the new pump was not good and they would have to keep my car until Monday, I didn't know what I would do for the rest of the weekend and Monday when it was time to go to work. He let me know they had a vehicle I could take until my car was ready, and not just some used vehicle. This was almost new, (2415 miles). I am so impressed with everything and everyone I dealt with during my experience. I will bring all future business to you. Wow, what else can I say about Mr. Elton Ables. Elton is top notch, personable, friendly salesman. Shaheen Chevrolet should be very proud to have him as part of your team! Elton has sold my family several cars now, and Elton always shows professionalism, courtesy and is just a "great guy." My 18 year old son Andy Moore was very anxious to purchase his first car. Andy had heard all the positive feedback about Elton and how his customers are always satisfied. Therefore, Andy called Elton as soon as he collected his first $3,000.00 All the paperwork went smoothly and the car was ordered. I just wanted to drop you an email to let you know how wonderful Casey Shann is within your Service Department. Casey ALWAYS goes above and beyond my expectations of your service department. I brought my car in recently for repairs and I mentioned to Casey that my low oil level light would come on before I had driven 3,000 miles and/or before I needed an oil change. Casey could have just said it was nothing, but instead he conducted an oil conduction study and looked through bulletins and found what the issue may be. So I brought my car in to have the seals on the motor checked. Well, during this process, other issues were found and repaired too (oil pump, water pump and some others). Casey then asked that I bring my car back in 1,000 miles to make sure that was the issue with the oil consumption. Because if it wasn't, he would have the technicians look deeper into the motor and find out what the issue is. Not many people seem to genuinely care about their customers these days like Casey does. I basically just wanted to tell you that Casey is outstanding and Shaheen Chevrolet is very fortunate to have an employee like Casey. I always recommend the Shaheen Service Department to anyone who has a GM vehicle. I do tell them to ask for Casey Shann because he will take care of them. My next car was going to be a Ford Fusion, however, with the great service I have received from the service department at Shaheen, I have changed my mind and I will purchase a Chevy Malibu when I am ready to buy a new vehicle. I appreciate everything Casey and the other individuals in the Service Department do for me and wanted you to know what kind of staff you have working for you. Amie

I want to take a minute to compliment your Collision Department for a job well done! I recently had a repair needed on my vehicle which took approximately a week. The process your team has in place is nothing less than outstanding customer service!!! Seldom do we experience this type of service in our day-to-day dealings nowadays. Your service, however, far exceeded my expectations on what my experience would be like while having my vehicle in a repair shop for a week. I bought a used car from Shaheens, and I am totally happy with the way everything was handled, from the very first time I went there until the deal was finished. I recently drove from Orrville OH (4 Hrs one way) to your dealership to purchase a 2008 Tahoe that I had found on the internet. David answered my E-Mail message and I proceeded to deal with David. We made arrangements for financing before I arrived to speed up the process. I arrived at 1PM and was on my way home by 4 PM with my 2008 Tahoe. I just wanted to take a quick moment to let you know that I was very impressed with the professionalism and customer service that I received from David. He was ready to help me when I arrived and did not stray away from getting me back on the road the entire time I was there. He even went the extra step to take care of a small issue I had with a cosmetic addition that was on the Tahoe that I was not aware of until I saw it up close. Thank you again David did a great job. Over the past year I have introduced a friend, sister-in-law, and my wife to John and each one purchased a car from him. Because they have all been very satisfied with Shaheen I also decided to contact John and let him know I was interested in a used car. He called me back the very next day and had a car he wanted me to look at. I purchased the car the next day and was very happy with the terms of the sale. After a couple of days I decided to put a coat of wax on the car and that was when I noticed some problems with the body of the car. I contacted John and he told me to bring it back. When I got to the dealership John was with a customer so Jim Shaheen sat down with me and discussed the issues and introduced me to Dave Wright. Dave went over the issues and provided me with a loaner car and sent me on my way with the assurance that all the problems would be corrected. In a few days I returned to pick up the car and found it in excellent condition. Dave even fixed a couple of minor items that I had not expected to be covered. I wanted to take a moment to say what a great experience it was purchasing my new work van from Dan, and all of the staff behind the scene. He worked extra hard to find exactly what I wanted (Options and even color). Dan gave me the price and related incentives and all of you got the deal financed with good terms. Dan and everyone made this deal happen and it was a big deal to me, It put me back on the road and to my next job, and that is peace of mind. I recently purchased a pre-owned 2006 Hummer H2 from Shaheen Chevrolet. I am very happy with my purchase and I would like to thank everyone at Shaheen Chevrolet for all of their professional assistance. I found Shaheen Chevrolet on the internet. I saw an H2 listed and called Dan Dowker. He informed me that this particular vehicle had just been sold, but he would search for another one for me. I had been in contact with at least three other dealers who had offered to do the same. As time went on, a couple things happened: First, I got an education as to what was on the market, and exactly what options, etc. I was looking for. Secondly, Dan Dowker was the only sales person who saw the entire purchase through. When I did not jump at the first vehicle that came along, the other dealers soon dropped out of the hunt. Dan continued to search the daily GM Dealer auctions for me. He never pressured me to purchase a vehicle that I did not really want, or to pay more for one than I had budgeted. Eventually, after 3 months of searching, we found the right vehicle for me. I subsequently made the deal and the purchase. I would like to thank Dan Dowker, of Shaheen Chevrolet, for his continued effort to see this purchase through. I would like to thank his sales manager, Jason Cords, who followed the auctions and did the actual bidding on our behalf. I would also like to thank Brad White, in sales, who provided me with transportation and did the necessary paperwork to close the final sale and transfers. Once again, I am very pleased with my treatment by Dan Dowker and all of the staff at Shaheen Chevrolet. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle. Hey Dan---I just wanted to let you know that the H2 is really great! As I told Brad, most of the time something turns out to be not as nice as our expectations, when we finally see it. Kevin purchased a 2009 Corvette 2LT Coupe from Shaheen Chevrolet without leaving his home in Arlington Virginia. Having never seen the car or without a test drive all arrangements were made through our Internet Sales Team. We delivered the Corvette to him. Kevin emailed back the following comments. Good morning!I would like to commend you and Shaheen for employees such as Dale Wagner. My initial call to Shaheen was to Tom on October 26, 2009 to set up an appointment to service my '99 Trailblazer and to check out the air conditioner clutch. Once at Shaheen, Tom was ill and Dale took over with the necessary paperwork and got me on my way to work with a ride from Bill Southweli. Bill is another excellent representation of your staff! To shorten this correspondence, the overall estimate was one that I was not prepared for as I was leaving Michigan for an opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina. I explained my situation to Dale and asked if the air conditioner could be by passed - knowing well that I would not have air conditioning in my vehicle. Dale offered to check with the technician the following day and advised he would call me as soon as he had the information the following day. Dale contacted me on October 28 with news that yes, the air conditioner could be by passed and offered generic parts to get by vehicle back on the road. I unfortunately do not know the name of the technician that worked on my vehicle, but another example of the excellent staff at Shaheen. The cost savings was one that could be handled by my family. Dear Shaheen ChevroletI am sending you this letter to thank you for the amazing service your salesman Ron Coolbaugh gave my wife and me when we purchased our amazing 2010 Malibu in February. First Ron Coolbaugh (I think his last name is made up because seriously how many people have cool in their name?) anyway, Ron made us feel very comfortable and confident in purchasing our new car. He answered all of our questions and we never felt pressured. Second, Ron convinced us that buying our car from Shaheen Chevrolet was the best deal around, we did our homework and he was right. A couple of guys I work with just bought Fords and let me tell you it is a lot of fun to brag about all the incentives I received and they didn't. I asked my supervisor "did you get a great deal on tires?" No "oil changes?" No "Interest rates No "did you get invited to an appreciation dinner" No "Should have went to Shaheen Chevrolet" Ha Ha! Third, Ron not only remembered our names later that week at the appreciation dinner but he also remembered our son' Kellen. That really impressed my wife. She said "I bet Ron meets with fifty people a week and out of all those people he still remembers our son's name!! WOW! What moved me the most is when we were in the middle of the talking incentives and Ron asked about our family and we told him about my Mother in laws second bout with cancer.
